Homes for Sale in Phinney Ridge-Greenwood

Phinney Ridge is in the north central of Seattle, and it separates Ballard from Green Lake.  It’s named after a lumber mill owner and real estate developer, Guy Phinney.  He was a wealthy Scottish immigrant who purchased and developed the land which is now known as Woodland Park.  If one is lucky enough to have a home on the ridge, it most likely has some fabulous views of the Cascade or Olympic mountain ranges.  Real estate prices are relatively reasonable in the neighborhood, with an easy commute to downtown.  Besides the Woodland Park Zoo, Greenwood Ave has a very popular stretch of restaurants, pubs, and funky coffee houses.  A busy community with art walks, winter festivals & craft fairs, farmers market and a Seattle favorite… the outdoor summer concert series, Zoo Tunes.
